    When you spend your personal money on Firearms for your Gun Trust (or for the $200 ATF Tax Stamp fee), the Memorandum of Contribution is how you create a paper-trail (to keep your trust legitimate).

    Notes:

    1. This form should not be used for purchases made before your trust was created.
    2. To create a paper-trail for firearms purchased before you created your Gun Trust, you can click here to create an Assignment Sheet
    3. You don't need to create a Memorandum of Contribution if you bought a firearm using a bank account owned by your Gun Trust.

    If you bought a Silencer online, and your purchase included the $200 ATF Application fee, you should choose No. You will still be able to enter the $200 fee on this Memo, it just needs to be documented in a different part of the form.
